Vodafone cuts data plan tariff by 80%

Hyderabad, June 18: India’s leading mobile telecommunication services provider Vodafone cuts data plan tariff by 80% in Karnataka, UP West and MPCG regions, according to a release by company. According to the new tariff plan, Vodafone has offered 10KB data for 2 paise, probably lowest data charge in the industry. This offer is valid for both post paid and pre-paid customers, Vodafone said.

Vodafone India also planning the similar data tariff plan for pan India operations in phased manner.

The Vodafone latest data plan is for customers using 2G network on a ‘Pay as you Go’ basis. The rate cut from 10p/10KB to 2p/10KB will make internet access affordable for customers who use mobile internet in a limited way, the company said.
These rates are currently applicable in Karnataka, UP West and Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh circles and will be rolled out nationally in a phased manner, Vodafone said.

Following the alphabetical order in its style of naming, the next version of Android is about to come, the successor of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean would be the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.
